6:00 pm

An evening of song, this Georgia based group brings their unique blend of hymns, gospel music, contemporary praise and testimony. "This Hope" brings enthusiasm, amazing harmonies, and challenge for all ages. Check out their music at www.ThisHope.org. It's the perfect night to invite a friend to Calvary!

Come interact with other young adults at their house at 7:00 pm. Hang out, consider the scriptures (current study is the book of John), eat and talk and just be together. Thursday morning Ladies Bible Study will begin, September 13. We will be studying Acts 13-28, using the book, "The Unexplainable Church: Reigniting the Mission of the Early Believers." Sign-ups will take place on Sundays, August 26 and September 2 in the lower lobby. Cost for the book is $8.00.

Take a break from the busyness of the day to sit down with the kids and friends in the Fellowship Hall for a simple supper prepared by Glen & Michelle Doelp and served by our own Calvary helpers. The cost is only $4.00/adult, $3.00/child (ages 3-11) or a maximum of $12.00/family. Sign up of the Friendship Register or call the church office by 4:00 pm each Monday. Boys and Their Toys: Dream Cars
Take a road trip with us to the Carcatcher Museum in Willow Grove on Saturday, September 22. Leave the church at 9:30 am for a 10:30 am tour of this outstanding collection of muscle cars, the Batmobile, 1950's cream puffs, early motorcycles and much more...including Dave Guttman's '41 Ford street rod! Following the tour we'll stop for lunch on our way home at Graeme Park Pizza in Willow Grove. Sign up at the table in the downstairs lobby to participate or call the church office.

Ladies Night Out at Calvary begins their year on Monday evening, September 24. LNO is going to Flint Hill Farm in Coopersburg for a "Mozzarella Class and Milking Experience". Visit with Kathy Fields and see her farm education center recently featured in Good Taste, Lehigh Valley's premier culinary resource magazine. This energetic lady from Calvary has graciously invited us to a hands-on experience of cheese making and milking. Visit the sign-up table on Sunday, September 16 in the lower lobby for more details.

Sight & Sound's new production of "Jesus"
"Jesus" is the musical stage adventure about the most famous person ever to walk the earth and the everyday people whose lives He changed forever.

Travel with Perkiomen Tours to Sight and Sound. After the show enjoy a family style meal at Hershey Farms. Cost: $108 per person (includes show, meal, and bus transportation). Reservation deadline: August 10. A $50 deposit is due with reservation. Call the church office at 610-282-3161.

Fifth Sunday Celebration - Operation Christmas Child
10:00 am

On September 30 at 10:00 am Calvary's kids, teens, and adults will not just hear but also participate in the shoebox ministry of Operation Christmas Child 2018. Guest Beckie Merrick will give a ministry update and you'll participate in packing hundreds of boxes for needy kids around the world.
