Kid’s Ministry

We love kids!  We desire to come alongside parents in discipling the next generation of our church.  As Psalm 78:4 teaches, "We will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the LORD, His power, and the wonders He has done." At each phase of life, we hope to impact kids’ lives with Jesus.  Our teams provide a safe, fun, and engaging experience where your child can explore a closer relationship with Jesus.

We take the safety of your child very seriously!  Every adult in our classroom has a current background check on file.  The claim check code you receive at check-in is unique to your family and provides extra security at pickup.

Our Sunday Experience

We Would Love to Have You Join Us

Infants to two year olds are (unstaffed) in the upstairs Room 201 , through the lower building doors doors up the staircase right behind the Welcome Desk.

Age 2-3 is in the room #202 and Age 4-5 is in the conference room. Both can be found upstairs through the lower building doors doors up the staircase right behind the Welcome Desk.

K – 5th grade is in the lower level of the North Building, the white building across the parking lot from Calvary's Main Building. During the service, kids will break-out into small groups.

At Home Spiritual Experience

For Those Who Do Church At Home

If you are doing church at home, start with the video lesson (music included) to the right. Additionally, our Calvary Kids Elementary has the same teaching from the 'At Home Spiritual Experience', but they do it in community with other kids and volunteers. Here is a snapshot of the lesson details for this Sunday (July 25) for both those at church and at home:

  • Bible Story: Making Peace With Others, Matthew 18:10-17
  • Big Idea: Jesus is the Good Shepherd who makes peace with us, so I can make peace with others.
  • Memory Verse: “I looked to the Lord, and he answered me. He saved me from everything I was afraid of.” Psalm 34:4 (NIrV)

Current Preschool Monthly Theme

1, 2, 3…Count with Me!

Preschool has a new theme every couple of weeks to keep them engaged with learning the bible stories. And right now we are reminded that little kids count—in more ways than one! During “1, 2, 3…Count with Me,” preschoolers will get to find and count the Bible story pictures. Each picture will help tell a portion of the Bible story. It all adds up to a wonderfully fun experience that teaches kids that sharing and telling the truth count to God, so it should count to us too! And of course, every Sunday, the kids always love waking up 'Topher the Gopher' to tell him the Big Idea! Here is a snapshot of the lesson details for this Sunday (July 25):

  • Bible Story: Mary Listens To Jesus, Luke 10:38-42
  • Big Idea: I can love my friends by listening.
  • Memory Verse:" A friend loves at all times." Proverbs 17:17

Our Team of Volunteers

Our team consists of many volunteers who work together to provide a safe, fun, and engaging experience for your child. The GO curriculum that we use takes the pressure off of our volunteers to provide content so that they can focus on facilitating relationships and activities with the children that help them grow closer to Christ. Our volunteers rotate quarterly, work with different age groups and participate in different roles to deliver a holistic environment for kids to KNOW Jesus GROW biblically together and SHOW His light to the world. Additionally, many volunteers are blessed through their service and grow in their faith as well!

But most importantly, all of our volunteers have a heart for Jesus and want to share that love with children. If that sounds like you or you would like to learn more about our team, click on the button below to learn more!
