Women's Wednesday Night Bible Study

Starting January 11th, at 6:15 PM

The Women will be diving into the book of Exodus. We will be using the Jen Wilkin study God of Freedom. It concentrates on chapters 19-40 of Exodus. We will use her video teaching and then discuss what we have learned and how to apply it to our lives. There is an optional study guide that can be purchased to work in and follow along but it is not necessary. It can be found on Amazon or Christian Book Distributors. Why Study Exodus: "Revisit familiar scenes of the giving of the Ten Commandments, the idolatrous worship of a golden calf, and of the intricate details of the tabernacle. And with fresh perspective, ask what these stories teach God's children today about how to live as those set free. ” Jen Wilkin

In every page of the Bible, learn to see Christ through the stories of His people. And discover how the God who created you and made a covenant with you will deliver you from death to life, for His name and renown.

We will discover God as the Deliverer of His people, Be challenged to fear God more than man, and to gain an understanding of how the whole Biblical story is one story. Join the ladies on Wednesday nights at 6:15 for bible study and prayer. We look forward to seeing you as we study God’s word together in Room 202. Men's Wednesday Night Bible Study

Resuming January 11th, at 6:15 PM

What does it mean to be a man that is worthy? To be worthy is to meet the measure of something outside ourselves. It’s having the character, fortitude and integrity that is equal to the challenge before us. God challenges us to be worthy of something no less than the greatest and most powerful gift in the universe – the gospel. The Bible puts it this way: “let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ… standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving side by side for the faith of the gospel, and not frightened in anything by your opponents” (Phil. 1:27-28). Starting on September 21st, the men of Calvary will be doing a weekly deep dive unto the book of Philippians. Together, we will learn the secret of joy and contentment in the face of adversity. Our fellowship and discussion will focus on what it means to be a man characterized by true humility, love, service, hope and perseverance. Join us every Wednesday in Room 201 evening starting September 21st at 6:15 pm for a 13-week study exploring practical insights into a life well-lived!
