Women's Wednesday Night Bible Study

Starting September 21, at 6:15 PM

The Women will be diving into the book of Exodus. We will be using the Jen Wilkin study God of Deliverance. It concentrates on the first 18 chapters of Exodus. We will be studying chapters 19-40, God of Freedom in the spring. We will use her video teaching and then discuss what we have learned and how to apply it to our lives. There is an optional study guide that can be purchased to work in and follow along but it is not necessary. It can be found on Amazon or Christian Book Distributors. Why Study Exodus: "The exodus of the Israelites shapes our understanding of the whole Bible, its themes reverberations all the way to Revelation. Exodus is the birth narrative of a nation unmistakably guided by the great Deliverer. In this 10 session study of Exodus 1-18, Jen Wilkin shows us that Israel’s story is our story: the same God who delivered Israel also delivers all those He loves from slavery to sin and from service to the pharaohs of this world. He lifts our eyes to the promised land He has prepared where we dwell with I AM and worship Him as the one true God.” Jen Wilkin

We will discover God as the Deliverer of His people, Be challenged to fear God more than man, and to gain an understanding of how the whole Biblical story is one story. Join the ladies on Wednesday nights at 6:15 for bible study and prayer. We look forward to seeing you as we study God’s word together in Room 202. Men's Wednesday Night Bible Study

Starting September 21, at 6:15 PM

What does it mean to be a man that is worthy? To be worthy is to meet the measure of something outside ourselves. It’s having the character, fortitude and integrity that is equal to the challenge before us. God challenges us to be worthy of something no less than the greatest and most powerful gift in the universe – the gospel. The Bible puts it this way: “let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ… standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving side by side for the faith of the gospel, and not frightened in anything by your opponents” (Phil. 1:27-28). Starting on September 21st, the men of Calvary will be doing a weekly deep dive unto the book of Philippians. Together, we will learn the secret of joy and contentment in the face of adversity. Our fellowship and discussion will focus on what it means to be a man characterized by true humility, love, service, hope and perseverance. Join us every Wednesday in Room 201 evening starting September 21st at 6:15 pm for a 13-week study exploring practical insights into a life well-lived!
