Dare to Care
For many years, the Dare to Care offering has been a fall tradition at Calvary Church. It is our opportunity to show our gratitude for God’s goodness to us by giving money to those less fortunate. One of the recipients of this year’s offering is very familiar to Calvary Church – Lillian Solt’s ministry to the needy children of Costa Rica. The other recipient, India Village Ministries, meets the physical and spiritual needs of needy widows and children in India. Suresh Vemulapalli is the director of IVM. The offering will be collected on November 24.

Angel Tree
Each year, the Calvary Church family helps provide Christmas gifts for children whose parent(s) are incarcerated. Each name of these Angels is that of a real child with real struggles and a breaking heart. Embarrassed, lonely, hurting…that little boy is missing his Daddy. That little girl doesn’t understand why her family isn’t together this year. You have the opportunity to make a difference!  Angels will be available in the foyer on November 17. Select an Angel, pray for that child, purchase the gift and return the wrapped gift, with the Angel attached, to the foyer by December 1. Help make Christmas special for these children. Delivery Drivers are needed to deliver these gifts to the children. If you can help make a delivery, contact the church office by email or phone: 610-282-3161.
