What is "Dare to Care"?
For many years, the Dare to Care offering has been an annual tradition at Calvary Church. It is our opportunity to show our gratitude for God’s goodness to us by giving money to those in need off of our shores. The recipients of this year’s offering are Lillian Solt at CEDCAS and Suresh Vemulaplli's India Village Ministries which meets the physical and spiritual needs of needy widows and orphans in India.
Lillian Solt (pictured above on the right) founded CEDCAS, they do creative evangelism bringing people to Jesus through ¨whole person health care¨ by meeting their spiritual, physical, emotional and financial needs. The largest outreach programs is the Clinic, located in Los Lagos, Costa Rica. Calvary has supported Lillian Solt's ministry for many years sending teams down to work on various work projects.
India Village Ministries
Suresh Vemulapalli and his family (Pictured above) lead India Village Ministries, which seeks to show Christ's love to the needy people of India. The ministry meets the physical needs of orphans and widows and trains Christian workers who spread the Gospel to people living in rural villages. This year's Dare to Care offering will be used for:
- Covid-19 relief work
- The Slum Dwellers Project

- The Poor Widows Project.
Would You "DARE TO CARE"? The offering will be collected on February 14.
