Financial Peace University

We care. We offer true help and hope, that's relevant.

Think about this: Where does your help come from?

We're a local church in Coopersburg leading a practical and helpful class called Financial Peace University. Talking about finances (let alone doing them) is hard, so we want to create a sense of connectedness. Learn more about this opportunity via a message from our class teacher Dan Oswald to the right and FAQ below!

FAQ

Our class covers a ranges of topics, including:

  • saving for emergencies
  • paying off debt fast
  • spending wisely (budgeting!)
  • understanding insurance
  • buying & selling a house
  • investing for your future (retirement, education, etc)
  • living with outrageous generosity

Financial Peace University is made up of nine very hands on, practical lessons. Before each time we meet - you'll have a video (about 40 minutes) about a specific financial concept to watch, along with some other class materials you can use to apply the lesson to your own personal situation. Then, as a group we will have some great discussions about the lesson, ask each other questions, and work together on how we can succeed financially.

Our class will meet every Sunday at 9:00 AM for about an hour, starting September 18 for a total of nine sessions (that puts the end of the class around late November).

All the money that you pay for this class ($100) goes directly towards purchasing your class materials that help make its topics personal to you. This includes videos online that you'll get to watch watch, and apps and course materials that you'll use beyond the course to teach and empower you to manage your finances well.

Click here - this will take you to Financial Peace University's website. You'll see "Calvary Bible Fellowship" at the top of the list of classes. That's us! Click our name, and then select "Join this Class". Follow the prompts and we'll see you on September 18!

No worries! You can contact our class leader Dan Oswald (recently retired local accountant and financial planner) by emailing him at dgocpa1982@gmail.com. He'll also be at KICKOFF (night of fun for the whole family - September 14 at 6:15 PM, click here and scroll down for more info) with a table to talk in person.
