Kid’s Ministry

We love kids!  We desire to come alongside parents in discipling the next generation of our church.  As Psalm 78:4 teaches, "We will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the LORD, His power, and the wonders He has done." At each phase of life, we hope to impact kids’ lives with Jesus.  Our teams provide a safe, fun, and engaging experience where your child can explore a closer relationship with Jesus.

We take the safety of your child very seriously!  Every adult in our classroom has a current background check on file.  The claim check code you receive at check-in is unique to your family and provides extra security at pickup.

At Home Spiritual Experience

For Those Who Do Church At Home

If you are doing church at home, start with the video lesson (music included) to the right. Additionally, our Calvary Kids Elementary has the same teaching from the 'At Home Spiritual Experience', but they do it in community with other kids and volunteers. Here is a snapshot of the lesson details for this Sunday (December 5th) for both those at church and at home:

  • Bible Story: 'The Prophets Foretell of the Coming King', 1 Kings 12:1–24; Isaiah 7:14, 9:6, 53
  • Big Idea: God gives us hope through the promise of Jesus.
  • Monthly Memory Verse: “But now Lord, what do I look for? My hope is in you.” Psalm 39:7

Disciple Your Child's Heart

See how your child is responding to what they have just learned. You can help better disciple their heart and love for Jesus with the GO! Home Guide.

Additional Resources

You can hang the Bible Verse Sign somewhere around the house to get the whole family memorizing scripture. And for kids that need to keep their hands busy during the video lesson, we have a Coloring Page!

Current Preschool Monthly Theme

JINGLE JAMBOREE

Preschool has a new theme every couple of weeks to keep them engaged with learning the bible stories. So, there ain’t no jamboree like a Jingle Jamboree! Christmas is here and it’s time to celebrate the birth of baby Jesus. During the Jingle Jamboree, preschool kids will guess what’s inside of some Christmas presents. The contents, once revealed, will help tell the greatest story ever told—the story of God, born as a baby, and the heavenly jamboree that burst forth from the sky. Best of all, kids will get to make their own instruments and upon opening the final present, they’ll have their very own jamboree for Jesus. And of course, our preschoolers love waking up Topher the Gopher every week to tell them the Bid Idea. Here is a snapshot of the lesson details for this Sunday (December 5th) for both those at church and at home:

  • Bible Story: 'Mary Meets an Angel', Luke 1:26–56
  • Big Idea: God gives us His Son, Jesus.
  • Monthly Memory Verse: “God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son.” John 3:16

Our Team of Volunteers

Our team consists of many volunteers who work together to provide a safe, fun, and engaging experience for your child. The GO curriculum that we use takes the pressure off of our volunteers to provide content so that they can focus on facilitating relationships and activities with the children that help them grow closer to Christ. Our volunteers rotate quarterly, work with different age groups and participate in different roles to deliver a holistic environment for kids to KNOW Jesus GROW biblically together and SHOW His light to the world. Additionally, many volunteers are blessed through their service and grow in their faith as well!

But most importantly, all of our volunteers have a heart for Jesus and want to share that love with children. If that sounds like you or you would like to learn more about our team, click on the button below to learn more!
