Real Jesus. Real Life.
A place where students make faith their own.
Our Purpose is to join alongside parents to translate and interpret the overall ministry of the church into the language and world of our middle school and high school students.
DISCOVERING FAITH TOGETHER
SUNDAY MORNING
Equip & Worship
10:10 AM
Our students join the wider church family each week in worship. This is a meaningful time to encounter God through His Word, prayer, and song, and to have fellowship with the church to glorify Christ as one body.
9:00 AM
Our students take part in Equip classes that bring the whole church together around God’s Word. These classes offer a variety of topics to choose from, providing opportunities to grow in biblical knowledge, be shaped by wise teaching, and experience the richness of learning alongside others in the body of Christ in a more academic nature.
WEDNESDAY NIGHTS
WORSHIP
Every Wednesday night at 6:15 we invite our students (6th-12th grade) to join us as we worship our Savior together. Our regular service includes games, music worship, expositional preaching, and connect groups.
DISCIPLESHIP
D-GROUPS
While discipleship is in every part of what we do in Calvary Youth, D-Groups are an excellent way to further discipleship! Each D-Group consists of 2-4 students led by an adult leader; in which they have a daily intake of God’s word and meet weekly to discuss what God is pointing out to them through this reading.
If you are interested in being in a D-group, contact Pastor Jacob!
EVENTS
Throughout the year, we offer on-campus and off-campus events to grow in fellowship with one another, all while having fun! Be sure to follow us on social media and join our parent email list to stay up to date on what events we are doing!
RECENT SERMON SERIES
King of Israel
King David is often heralded as Israel's greatest king. Yet, David was not the savior. God promised that the savior would come through his line, and reign on David's throne. However, as we look to the life of David, we see through promise, comparison, and contrast what it means for Jesus to be our King. Jesus is the true and better David, the lowly shepherd and mighty king!
Acquainted With Grief
How much do you stop and consider just how much Jesus went through to secure our salvation? Isaiah says that Jesus was acquainted with grief, which we especially see in the week leading up to the cross. This series includes the Passion (suffering) week of Jesus, including the plot to kill Jesus, betrayal, the Passover/Last Supper, The Cross, The Resurrection, and more!
When God Seems Slow
Have you ever thought that God's plan hasn't made sense, or that it might be unfair? Why do good things happen to bad people, and bad things happen to good people? Well, the book of Habakkuk studies this very idea. Habakkuk sees injustice happening around him and thinks that God is doing nothing about it. We quickly find out He is, but even still Habakkuk feels like that plan is unfair. But, despite Habakkuk's feelings, we see God use this for His spiritual growth into maturity.
