RECENT SERMON SERIES

King of Israel

King David is often heralded as Israel's greatest king. Yet, David was not the savior. God promised that the savior would come through his line, and reign on David's throne. However, as we look to the life of David, we see through promise, comparison, and contrast what it means for Jesus to be our King. Jesus is the true and better David, the lowly shepherd and mighty king!

Acquainted With Grief

How much do you stop and consider just how much Jesus went through to secure our salvation? Isaiah says that Jesus was acquainted with grief, which we especially see in the week leading up to the cross. This series includes the Passion (suffering) week of Jesus, including the plot to kill Jesus, betrayal, the Passover/Last Supper, The Cross, The Resurrection, and more!

When God Seems Slow

Have you ever thought that God's plan hasn't made sense, or that it might be unfair? Why do good things happen to bad people, and bad things happen to good people? Well, the book of Habakkuk studies this very idea. Habakkuk sees injustice happening around him and thinks that God is doing nothing about it. We quickly find out He is, but even still Habakkuk feels like that plan is unfair. But, despite Habakkuk's feelings, we see God use this for His spiritual growth into maturity.
